Our factory is based in the South West region of England, in the United Kingdom, and it was established in 1937. We specialize in luxury shearling slippers that are handmade using traditional techniques and methods. The town we are based in is called Glastonbury, and it is traditionally the center for the British shearling industry dating back to the 12th century AD when the monks of Glastonbury Abbey began tanning skins. Until the 1980’s, Glastonbury was producing more than 80% of the sheepskins used in western Europe. Our factory is now the oldest sheepskin slipper makers in the UK, and the oldest sheepskin company in Glastonbury.
