You can machine or hand wash your sheepskin rug at 40 °C using mild detergent, but do not use bleach. Fabric conditioner can be added too. Afterwards, pull the rug into shape and hang it to dry naturally. Flex the sheepskin as it begins to dry, to regain its flexibility and suppleness. You can also comb the wool to renew its appearance.
